I need to call and set up a lunch with my friend Sallye. We haven't gotten together since before Christmas. Seems like there's always something to do, but we're both retired, so you'd think we could stay in touch better.

As for a fandom I'd like to touch base with again, sometimes I dabble back with Due South and read the fic.

I know as a retired person, many of my friends still work, and so we can't go out until the weekend! So, I have your problem in reverse.

I love being retired. I know a lot of people get bored, but I always have something to do or something to entertain myself.

And, when home problems come up, I don't have to take off work to resolve them.

Fandom - I recently got back into Blakes 7 after 20+ years away, and spent a lovely weekend at a conference away from home wallowing in yummy B7 slash (and even had some time to work on your dalek, almost finished).

I'd love to get into Lost again. It was such a big part of my life for so long.

But 120 episodes x 40 minutes = you work it out. Who has that much time?!

That would be Fiona. Haven't chatted with her in about 4 mos. We've been pen pals since 1985ish.

I used to be into Dr Who a lot. Not so much anymore but it would be nice to visit.
