life imitating art

A couple of years ago, I wrote a story in which Illya was a Millenial hipster working at Whole Foods. At the time, I was not working at Whole Foods, but I did have some friends who were.

Today, I started a job at Whole Foods. And so far I have not had an argument with my manager about whether bananas are fair trade, although it turns out that we do have different concerns about the use of GMOs in produce.
