How do you like your fic?

Which season do you prefer your fic to emulate: the black and white balance of S1, but without as much partner interaction, the more 'involved' S2, but with sillier plots and villians, the campy silliness of S3 or the extreme seriousness of S4?

Do you prefer your MFU more gritty and real or light and airy?
