I had trouble sleeping last night and by chance found what I think must have been the low point of David McCallum's career. It was the Phantom Farmhouse episode of Night Gallery. Werewolves, but not normal werewolves, undead werewolves. The plot didn't make any sense, the writing was dismal, and the other actors sounded like they were reading their lines from a teleprompter and had never seen them before. David did a lot of running which made his 1970's hair flop prettily, and he delivered his lines smoothly, but was emotionally distant even during the love scenes with the phantom/werewolf/girl.
