My default

A question from cousin Yelizaveta and a good one.

What say you to the thought that the movie people have an in-touch cousin somewhere in their ranks?

The IK actor was pretty much ok'd from the get go, no big problems with him and he is still there.  Every person 'we' have not liked for NS has gone by the wayside.  Since this new NS actor was put forth and greeted with phrases like '...at least they got it right this time'  He has been made official and the 2 leads are set.  No big whoop about the female lead so she is set.  I'm probably not right or even close and if I am then we don't want them to know  that we know.  Just something floating around in the mass of grey matter I call my mind. I do tend to go off the deep end now and again.

So, what say you, cousins?  Have 'we' infiltrated the ranks and are keeping our best interests at heart?

I snagged this from Cousin Yumyumpm

This was news to me.  I didn’t realize the Man from UNCLE had actual words.  After reading them, I’m sort of glad I didn’t know.  Yikes!  Not exactly award winning lyrics… at least the music was good!

Music by Jerry Goldsmith, lyrics by Ernie Sheldon.
Here is a transcription of the written words:

Come when he calls you, young man,
U.N.C.L.E. is calling.
Kiss her goodbye now,
You’ve got to fly now.
Don’t keep him waiting, young man,
U.N.C.L.E. is calling.
Trouble is brewing,
Drop what you’re doing,
U.N.C.L.E. is calling, young man.
          Thrushes in the trees
          Sing deadly melodies.
Go where he calls you, young man,
          U.N.C.L.E.’s calling.
Where there is danger,
You are no stranger,
U.N.C.L.E. is calling, young man.

I think this is just what Neil Patrick Harris needs to open the next Tony awards show with.

And if this isn't enough, you can hear it being performed here.
