Butter Cake Bars

Ingredients
1 box yellow cake mix
1 egg
1/2 cup butter soft at room temperature
8 oz. Cream Cheese
2 eggs beaten
2 cups powdered sugar
powdered sugar to sprinkle

Instructions
1.Preheat oven to 350 F.
2.Line an 8 x 8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
3.In a bowl, mix together the cake mix, soft butter, and 1 egg until a soft dough forms. Press into the bottom of the baking dish.
4.In a stand mixer, combine together the cream cheese, 2 eggs, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Spread over the cake mix layer.
5.Bake bars for about 45 minutes, or until edges are golden brown,and the center has set to a soft consistency.
6.Cool COMPLETELY before slicing into bars and serving. (If you don't they won't cut well and the top will ooze all over.)
