Some UK body thought it would be great to let the public name their new Polar Explorer vessel, and opened an online vote.
And at the moment the name winning by miles is Boaty McBoatface.
And I can just hear IK telling NS 'We board the good ship Boaty McBoatface at dawn tomorrow'.
(The organisers are pointing to small print in the voting rules which allows them to over-rule the public choice)
