Its been a good long run but I'm getting ready to decommission the File 40 website come 3 May. Letting you guys know so you can please alert the UNCLE community to copy down whatever stories they want to keep that are not already copied off on other more up to date UNCLE sites.
I haven't touched the site at all in years and don't anticipate keeping it updated. I've been personally footing the bill for over (wow) over 15 years now and its time to let go.
The whole site is also stored securely on the Way Back Machine/Internet Archive at:

Their last full copy was conducted 13 March 16 so the stories are still available there starting with the www.file40.net home page.
Please let folks know. I suspect that most everyone is internet literate enough to page e-copy down their own stories and if not, there's always the option of a hard-copy send to their printer.
