And if you do give them carefully word, but honest criticism, how did they respond? With appreciation or a screaming fit? The con opinion was that few writers today, especially the new writers, want to hear the bad stuff. They don’t want to be corrected, edited or have even a hint that something might be off, they just want to be praised for managing to spell the guys’ names right.
