Heavy thoughts for a Wednesday

It’s common knowledge that THRUSH arms its agents with a cyanide capsule for the ‘last resort’ escape option. Obviously UNCLE either trusts its operatives to be more competent or they are less concerned about them ‘breaking’ under the stress of torture.

So, I got to thinking, if given the option, do you think either Napoleon or Illya would view suicide as an escape method when it was obvious nothing else would work. Going a bit further, would one kill the other to avoid them further torture (I’m think of Debra Chapman’s most excellent “Two Hawks Dancing” as an example)?

What say you, cousins?
