This seems a logical next step after our discussion of the innocents and the villains. What do we make of the girls from U.N.C.L.E.? (and I don't mean April Dancer). I mean the support staff, those armed & sexy girls in tight skirts who work as receptionists and, often flirtatiously, answer the communicator missives from Napoleon and Illya. Who hand Waverly his files. Sometimes, not always, they are named Wanda (though that name seems to be a running joke of sorts). Napoleon, clearly, enjoys some sort of relationship with many of them and you'd have to imagine this would create internal jealousies. Illya seldom seems to even notice them, though he's chatting away via communicator with a Linda in "Roundtable." What type of women are they and do any stand out in your mind? They exist mostly as eye candy, at times wiggling around Waverly's conference table to intrusive striptease saxophone music. Still, they're around in almost every episode.
My personal favorite is Heather McNabb who appears in a few first season eps. She's lovely and seems to have a bit of an edge to her. I've always wondered about her back story. These girls work in a male-dominated organization and the Section 2 guys are not really available as marriage fodder. It's not like being a stewardess or a secretary in a normal business. Any thoughts about them?
