I really enjoyed seeing Robert return to my tv screen in Hustle. His portrayal of charming scoundrel Albert Stroller brought back memories of Napoleon. His smile and mannerisms were so enchanting. He brought out the best in all of his castmates -- then as he had in MFU.
I was always an Illya girl, but I recognized very early that it was the pair that made the show my all-time favorite. The chemistry they had was so special and so timeless. I always had a tiny hope that one day Robert Vaughn would show up on NCIS or David McCallum on Hustle. They made quite the pair.
I'm having a Hustle marathon today to celebrate the talent of Robert Vaughn. I wish I had had the chance to meet him and to tell him thank you for all the memories.
