Under a Mayo moon...

My friend Sean Hennessy sang this last night at our gig. It was the first time I'd heard it and the song made me think of Robert Vaughn, who was proud of the fact that he was of Irish ancestry... his children had very Irish names, Cassidy and Caitlin.

While playing my part on tin whistle,I had to fight back tears.

Fare thee well Robert! Go n-eirigh on bothar leatsa!
