LJ is losing me

I no longer get emails - comments or messages - from LJ and it keeps telling me my email is unvalidated because of error messages from my email server.
It keeps asking me to validate my email, and I press the thing for it to send an email to my email address, and it says Success! But in all these weeks I have never actually received the email with the link I have to click in return.


It happened once before, years ago, and the email arrived and LJ believed me again. But this current episode has lasted for weeks.

Anyone know how I get round this one?
