I was distraught to discover that one of my favorite slashy fanvids, the one set to the song Mr. Brightside by The Killers, has been removed in the time since last I watched it. This video was one of my first finds in fandom--maybe before I even found the livejournal communities, and it is such a brilliant use of violence-as-sublimation for jealousy. I just love it so much.
I googled a little bit and could only find places where it was referred to and the link given was the same dead youtube link.
Does anyone know if it is still hosted anywhere or if it might be someplace retrievable? Or if the creator is among us? Are you out there? I would love to download it and have it if such a thing is possible.
