Well....sh*t
Twenty-four years ago I had ovarian cancer...earliest ever caught according to Mass General...pretty much self contained and I had chemo for preventative reasons not curative.
A month ago I felt a lump in my breast...now I had just had my annual mammos in early December and all was well the report said. Finally got the diagnosis after several weeks of Keystone cops routines and lastly a needle biopsy which came back positive as invasive slow growing.
Tomorrow morning my husband and I are off to the Mayo Clinic in MN for a second opinion and possible surgery. We have a Monday am apptmnt.
For those who believe, I ask for your prayers and good vibes. I'm not looking for a pity party...lol, it's just good to know that one has someone rooting for them. If there are any cousins who have been through this and don't mind sharing with me I'd love to hear about your experiences. If you do, please pm me.
I may be out of pocket off and on for the next week or two, but I'll be reading anything MFU when I can...it's good medicine.
