Not surprising, he appeared in The Shark Affair. Some might have called him a madman, but others a visionary. He was determined to save mankind from what he saw as an impending nuclear war. He gathered together the most talented and capable people he could find in the hopes of being about to repopulate the world with skilled artisans.
Unfortunately, not all of his guests were as happy to be there as others were. UNCLE saw his methods as heavy handed and Shark as a kidnapper. However, many of the people on his ship seemed to be pretty content (except for a grumpy concert pianist) and a couple of feisty UNCLE agents.
I don't think Shark deserved the end he got and I loved that his first mate stayed loyal up to the end, perhaps a parallel of Napoleon and Illya or even a foreshadowing of I Spy.
What say you, cousins? Was he a fiend or just ahead of his time? Was he truly bad and bad at being truly good?
