You can be immunized beginning now through the end of the year. October is generally the best time to get it because it allows time for it to become effective within your body before “flu season” hits.

In the US, the CDC (Center for Disease Control) has approved the nasal flu vaccine for certain age groups. If this sounds interesting to you, do your due diligence and if you choose, have somebody stick it up your nose. 🙂
In the US, there is a stronger flu vaccine available this year, targeted to the 60 plus age group and to those with chronic illnesses. It possibly costs more, but I’m going to try to get it.
Flu kills. Period. It causes deaths from pneumonia and from sepsis (infection in the blood that overwhelms all your body systems). Flu kills. Old people, babies, young people, middle age people, everyday healthy people.
