Yay - Christmas tree!

This year I advocated for getting a tree here as opposed to driving to Pollock Pines (ninety minutes away) to get one. We usually go to a tree farm run the (this gets complicated) the sons of TBG's mother's best friend. The first couple of years they cut us a deal, but that's long gone now and I think their kids are running the place now.

Anyhow, last year we ended up with a spindly tree that we didn't like, that didn't have much of a smell and started losing its needles almost instantly. Since we weren't heading up the hill until the 8th, I thought it would be easier to get one here.

And it was. Ten minutes from the house and ten minutes worth of looking found us this tree. And it was only five dollars more than we paid last year (and that isn't including the gas or wear on the truck).

I put them behind a cut because of size.

I invite anyone who is of a mind to post shots of their trees, too. I love seeing them.
