Fun Fact: The MFU Car Could Have Been A "Love Bug" Or A Dodge Charger

Over on Facebook MFU Inner Circle, Robert Short (owner of the UNCLE car and Admin. of the site) wrote, "I meet up with Gene Winfield, the builder of the U.N.C.L.E. Car, at the Petersen Museum during the COSPLAY Day celebration where he gave a lecture. One of the things covered was the creation of the U.N.C.L.E. Car which included the fact that the original car chosen to be the U.N.C.L.E. Car was a Volkswagen Bug, then a Dodge Charger and finally the Piranha."



Can you imagine our boys jumping out of a VW Beetle and trying to act cool? Of course, Waverly would have called it a wise, econic choice.
