Christmas is coming up fast and, along with it, one of the MFU fandom’s favorite holiday traditions, The Down the Chimney Affair.

This year, Timemidae is running DtCh, and she has a special request. Several writers who missed the sign ups have asked for access to the prompts so they can join the fun. However, rather than create confusion by opening up the already-assigned prompts for additional “bonus fills,” she’s going to redirect those writers to the existing MFU prompt meme page on AO3.

So here’s a chance for any non-writers who haven’t been able to participate in DtCh in the past to request a story without any requirement that you write a story in return!

If you’re an AO3 member, go to the MFU prompt meme page and provide your Christmasy (or non-Christmasy, if you prefer) prompts.

If you’re not a member of AO3 and you’d like to request a story, post your prompts here and I’ll add them to the challenge for you.

And if you’re a writer, feel free to visit the page and add or claim prompts at any time.

Be sure to indicate whether you’re requesting a Gen, Het or Slash story if you have a preference.
